Workshop by the Cambridge machine knitters club

I was neglecting writing for the blog, because customers request, and computer break down took all my time. But it seams, that I am in the
right lane now, got a new laptop with Windows 8. Which is also a
problem because I have to do a lot of learning with this new operating system.

However, life goes on, and I am busy with preparing material and
samples for a Cut and Sew Workshop on November 9-th all day.
If anyone would be interested to come it is still time to register.
Write to Barbara Bennett at this e-mail:  barb.bennett3@rogers.com
or phone 519 267-5588.
This workshop became to life of popular request, especially for the
projects which is done in fair-isle or other designs, rather than plain stockinet stitch.
I have been doing this method for many years, not all the time, but
when it was easier to finish the neckline with a cut and sew.
I promise that I will write about the workshop after we had all our fun.
It is to bad that machine knitting seminars are becoming very scarce
in Canada, after the many years of the successful Cardiknits Seminar
ended. I am personally missing, that I don't do demonstrations anymore.
I still giving lessons, but most of the time it is the beginning version,
because people obtaining the machines second hand and don't know
how to begin to use it.
But, I am grateful  for any newcomer to this craft and I help as much as
I can.
Now I have to go back to finish my preparation for the Workshop.

Sunday 31 March 2013

Easter Sunday, March 31

I was away from my blog for almost 3 weeks. I had a bad influenza attack, which ended
up with the other person in my household. With both of us sick, not very much happened
other than fixing some food, and taking rests like sleeping.
With the help of some antibiotics we are starting to feel better, but the tiredness remains as a side effects of the medication.
I had a lot of time thinking about new designs, [of course only thinking] and eager to get
back to my knitting room. I hear loud shouting from there:  Where is the boss lady?

I hope that with my next blog I will be able to put more items on the For Sale list hopefully with pictures.
In the meantime I am waiting for the Spring desperately.

So long for now and happy knitting

Ada
